For twenty-five years I had been ailing, growing worse each year. I employed several physicians, hoping to be cured, but found no help, and finally had to undergo two operations. At last the physicians declared my case incurable. My nerves were in such a condition that I was often in despair and almost unconscious. My stomach, kidneys, and liver did not act right, and I had another serious disease and was therefore losing strength continually.
