Words can hardly express how thankful I am for Christian Science. For ten years I was a sufferer from insomnia, and during this period, for weeks at a time, I was unable to sleep. After trying many physicians, electricity, and outdoor exercise, I found no relief, and was left hopeless. Then sorrow came to me in the loss of a dear friend. This grief added to my physical debility, and I was induced by a friend to try Christian Science. I had, however, little faith, after trying so many things with no success; but this time I was not to be disappointed. Through the untiring endeavors of a faithful friend and worker in Christian Science, I was healed, and since then Christian Science has been very dear to me, for it has brought to me the assurance of God's infinite love and care, and I was rejoiced to find a religion so very helpful and practical.
This acknowledgment but faintly expresses my unbounded gratitude to Mrs. Eddy for her guidance to the understanding of God, who is our Life.
