I wish to give public expression of gratitude for my healing in Christian Science. About two years ago I was suffering from a very serious illness, and the physician who attended me said that I must be removed to a hospital. This was done, and I was there six months; was operated upon three times, but without success. While I lay ill at the hospital, my parents heard of Christian Science through my aunt. I was to be operated upon for the fourth time, but meanwhile I had reached my fourteenth year, and as I was in the children's hospital, I was now to be removed to another. My mother begged the physician to let me be taken home for as long a stay as possible; to which he consented, saying that I might remain at home for eight days, but must not be without medical aid. Our family physician declared my case to be entirely incurable; whereupon we turned to Christian Science. I came to Christian Science, a picture of misery; but after the first treatment I began to feel better, and after five months' treatment I was perfectly healed. What three or four physicians believed to be impossible Christian Science has done for me.
