It is about seven years since I first heard of Christian Science, and for the many blessings it has brought into my life I desire to express my sincere gratitude. For some years before commencing the study of Science and Health I had been obliged to wear glasses, but these were soon laid aside, not being any longer necessary. An irritable temper and a sense of general weakness have been overcome, and many other troubles destroyed, but greater still has been the help realized through a higher thought of God,—the knowing that God does not send sickness and suffering on His children; that these come through our lack of understanding of God, for the right understanding of divine Truth restores harmony. I feel very grateful for the Journal and Sentinel, and for our Lesson-Sermons; also for the privilege of attending services in The Mother Church, and for the wonderful experiences of the dedication of the Extension to The Mother Church I do indeed feel deeply grateful. To our revered Leader, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, I feel that gratitude can best be expressed in a life of loyalty and loving obedience to Truth.—Laura Eaves, Queensland, Brisbane, Australia.
