Christian Science was brought to my notice in the spring of 1901, through the healing of my mother, who at the age of seventy-five was in a serious condition from kidney and bowel trouble. She had received no benefit from a medical specialist, but when we called a Christian Science practitioner, and read Science and Health to her, she was healed in about two weeks. I was myself healed of severe headaches from which I had suffered all my life, and later of kidney trouble, a throat difficulty, also a disease of fifteen years' standing. This was accomplished in a few weeks with the help of a practitioner. A discontented disposition and a great sense of sorrow have likewise been overcome.
Such a thing as doubt' does not enter my thought in regard to this truth. I wish to offer my deepest thanks to God for the wonderful truth which has been revealed to us through our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy.
