I wish to express my gratitude for all the good which I have received through Christian Science. For several years I suffered from gall-stones, the attacks being often very severe. As this was the case again last winter, I underwent medical treatment from December till the middle of March, and was somewhat relieved, but not healed. The pain would always grow worse toward evening. My attention was then drawn to Christian Science by relatives, and in my extremity I applied to a practitioner and asked for help. Treatment was taken up immediately, and in two weeks' time the pain had disappeared and has not returned since, thanks be unto God. One year ago last October I was taken with an acute attack of lung trouble, but was healed In a couple of weeks.
My grandchild had been under medical treatment, on account of an intestinal disorder, for quite a while, without result. She, too, was healed through Christian Science treatment and freed from this trouble a year ago last March. The same child was also completely healed of severe inflammation of the eyes through treatment in Christian Science, and I wish to state here that in all these instances the work was accomplished through absent treatment. For these great blessings we thank God, and we are very grateful to Mrs. Eddy.
