In August, 1908, I suffered from a paralytic attack, my left side being rendered useless. For a year and a half I was unable to do any kind of work, but simply waited for what I believed to be the end. A friend called my attention to Christian Science. I borrowed a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" from the reading-room of the local church, and was healed by reading and studying it, together with the Bible. My gratitude to God, also to our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy, can only be attested by my daily life.— Bridgeport, Conn.
