I have often wished to give my testimony as to the healing power of Christian Science. In July, 1911, I fell and sustained a severe injury of the ankle. At that time I knew nothing of Christian Science, but my sister had been healed of what is known as gall-stone, so I decided to give it a trial. The second day after I was hurt, I called on a practitioner, and also purchased a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, which I immediately began to read. After two hours' study of the wonderful truths contained therein, the pain, which to my sense was very severe, had completely vanished, as had also the swelling and the discoloration.
Since that time I have had many demonstrations of the power of Truth. There is hardly a day in which something does not have to be met, but through the study of the Lesson-sermons, and our other Science literature, this is an easy task. While grateful for the physical healings, I am also deeply thankful for the spiritual help received; and if this testimony will help some lone wanderer who is searching for the light, I shall indeed be glad.— Eureka, Utah
