It is with a grateful heart that I try to tell of the blessings I have received in Christian Science. A few years ago I was suffering from lung trouble, and in 1910 my doctor told me he had done all he could for me. I had heard of Christian Science, for my sister had seen evidence of its healing power and had sent me a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, which I studied. In September, 1911, I went to New York to visit my sister (I was then living in Falmouth, Nova Scotia), and attended the Sunday school of Second Church of Christ, Scientist, in that city for one year. Through the study of Christian Science and the help received in the Sunday school, I was completely healed of the lung trouble. I was also healed of nervousness, from which I had suffered for years, and of diseased eyes, after wearing glasses seven years; and I can now say I am perfectly well. I am indeed thankful to God, and grateful to Mrs. Eddy for Christian Science, also to the kind friends who helped me in the study of this wonderful truth.
I have since been able to prove the power of Truth, as taught in Christian Science, in many demonstrations of healing. One member of my family was healed in one evening of a severely injured ankle, another was freed from rheumatism, and another from a cold and sore eyes. Where there seemed to be only discord, Christian Science has brought harmony. For all these blessings I am truly grateful.— New York, N. Y.
