It is with a grateful heart that I testify to the blessings which God has bestowed upon me through Christian Science. In November,1913, I was taken ill with appendicitis. The condition became aggravated after a week, thus compelling us to secure medical help. No relief was afforded, however, but rather did an operation seem to be necessary. I was almost driven to despair by the continuous suffering, especially as I seemed to have lost all strength. It was then that my attention was called to Christian Science by an aunt. I read some literature dealing with the subject, and was so much impressed that I immediately decided to seek help along this line. The result is that through Christian Science I have become a very different woman. I am most deeply grateful for this wonderful healing which has come to me through the grace of God, and I am thankful indeed to our faithful Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who has shown us the way to Truth.
I feel that I cannot give adequate thanks unto God for the blessings bestowed upon me, for delivering me according to His promise from all disease, and again revealing to us the glorious Christ-teaching.
