Only those who have suffered in a similar way can know what I endured from gall-stones, appendicitis, and yellow jaundice. I was always a faithful believer in God's mercy, being of the Jewish faith, and now have found Him a help even in sickness and other trials. We have no troubles so burdensome or heavy that we cannot trust the infinite God, who helps us when we faithfully and honestly search for Him. Christian Science has not lowered my Judaism, but has made it richer and sweeter with the blessings of God.
One of my daughters was cured of a skin disease of seven years' standing. The doctors' help was only temporary, and the eruption returned again and again. With one Christian Science treatment the disease was overcome and it has never returned. Another of my daughters was cured of ulcerated tonsils within three treatments, and she is thankful daily.
