It is with a grateful heart that I wish to testify to the blessings God has bestowed upon me through Christian Science. In August, 1912, I became ill with bronchial catarrh and asthma, attended by spasms of the heart, and for two months and a, half was under medical treatment. The suffering drove me nearly frantic, and my strength was almost gone. Finally, as nothing seemed to relieve me, my case was declared incurable.
It was then that my attention was called to Christian Science. I read some literature on the subject, and was so impressed that I immediately resolved to seek help along those lines. I made a diligent study of the Herold, and gradually gained a better understanding of Truth. If I now say that through God's power and truth I have been entirely freed of all my ailments and made a healthy, happy, and cheerful woman, everybody will appreciate the deep gratitude I feel to our heavenly Father. I am still more grateful, however, for the spiritual healing, as spiritual understanding brings true peace. I am growing stronger every day, both mentally and physically, and feel that I cannot be too grateful to God, our divine Father-Mother, from whom we are never separated. I think of Mrs. Eddy with profound gratitude for her life-work, which has brought such blessings upon mankind, and shall always remember with love all those who have helped me in my search for the truth in Christian Science.— Bremen, Germany.
