Several years ago, when I had a serious fall which resulted in a long cut over the forehead and another on the side of one eye, besides bruising my neck and shoulders, the truth that, "one with God is a majority," was clearly proven to me. I was rendered unconscious for a short time by the fall, but when I came to myself I began to realize the truth to the best of my understanding, till after the wounds were dressed. Then a Christian Science practitioner was asked to treat me, and I am thankful to say that with this help very little pain was experienced. The third day afterward all the bandages were taken off, and in less than two weeks the cuts were healed and I was back at work. All who saw me knew I had Christian Science treatment, but they could hardly believe their eyes to see such a deep cut healed up so soon and with hardly a scar to be seen. I went to see the doctor four times, and at the last visit he said I was all right.
This experience was a great proof to me that God can do more for us than all else. I have had a number of other demonstrations of the allness of God, for all of which I am deeply thankful, and my daily desire is to strive, and watch, and pray for that Mind to be in me "which was also in Christ Jesus."
