For over six years I have been enjoying the blessed freedom that Truth brings in Christian Science. I did not come to Science for healing, but through the desire for "a closer walk with God." I had been a church member for about forty years, but feeling there was not the satisfaction in this relationship which I desired, began to read Christian Science literature. The more I read the more I loved the wonderful thoughts put forth, and I was forced to give up all else for the beautiful, logical, and practical truth which makes free.
When it was decided to leave all for Christ, I had such a peace and uplift as cannot be expressed in words. I can now do all I want to do and feel no fatigue; I do all my housework and walk as far as I wish, although in my seventy-sixth year. I cannot adequately express my thankfulness to God, and my gratitude to Mrs. Eddy for this blessed truth, which is available to all who will have it.— Garnett, Kan.
