For benefits received through the teachings of Christian Science I wish to express my gratitude. In November, 1912, my face and eyes were severely burned by an explosion of gunpowder. The eyes were swollen and the sight was seemingly destroyed. My sister, who had been an invalid for over a year from tuberculosis of the bone, was being helped at that time by Christian Science, and although I knew very little about it I insisted upon having treatment. The result was that I did not suffer any pain, and in a short time the burns were healed beautifully and without leaving any scars; but it was some time before the normal sight was restored.
I feel very grateful to God for opening my eyes to the truth. I read the Journal and the Sentinel and receive much help from the articles.— Sheridan, Mich.
