As I have had so much help from the testimonies in both the Sentinel and the Journal, I want to give mine, hoping it may help some one to realize God's allness. I have been interested in Christian Science for about six years, and during that time have had many proofs of God's loving care. One demonstration in particular stands out in my memory, for it proved to me the absolute nothingness of matter and the allness of Spirit, God. My little girl awoke early one morning with what mortal sense would call the croup. I immediately declared the truth, that as God's child she could not manifest anything but good, and before she got out of bed she was healed. She has also been healed of the mumps, chicken pox, measles, and scarlet fever. When she was taken with the scarlet fever I called a practitioner, as I was quarantined and held a little fear. The ailment yielded beautifully in five treatments. While nursing her during this attack I began to have all the symptoms of the disease, but in one treatment the error was overcome.
My daily prayer is that I may be more awake to the voice of God, and that my consciousness may be so filled with Love that nothing else can enter. My heart fills with gratitude to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for giving us Christian Science, the key to the Scriptures, which makes it possible for all to demonstrate this great truth.— Fairview, Okla.
