The divine command, "Bring yc all the tithes into the storehouse," prompts this most grateful recognition of Love's blessings, received through Christian Science. During the past five or six years an unfoldment of the truth of being has been accompanied by many beneficial experiences. The lessons learned at such times, though often with a struggle, are very dear to me, for they are stepping-stones to greater demonstration of the healing power of Truth.
An experience with my eyes served to promote an understanding of the truth which frees. There seemed to be an obstruction, blurring my sight, together with inflammation. This manifestation did not readily yield entirely to Christian Science treatment, for at times it would seem to return after improving somewhat. During this testing period, discouragement would try to gain a foothold, but each time when this tendency was overcome, more of Truth was realized. Finally, through the untiring efforts of a loving practitioner, and when clearer spiritual sight had been gained, this condition vanished into its native nothingness. I have been attending school for over a year and a half since then, and am very thankful for this healing.
Christian Science benefits me in my school work; one receives much help by realizing that man reflects infinite Mind, for lessons are learned more readily when God's law is first studied and practiced. There are continual opportunities to correct thought with the truth and to replace unlovely characteristics with divine qualities, but I realize that I am just starting in the right direction. Christian Science is a wonderful help in this way as in all others, for its only influence is to purify and bless one's whole life.
