For several years I had the privilege of attending the Christian Science Sunday school, and for the inspiring instruction received there I can only show my gratitude by letting my light so shine before men that I may glorify my Father which is in heaven. The study of the Bible in connection with Science and Health has made that book very dear and practical to me. The truth found in these books, showing me the allness and loving protection of our Father-Mother God and man's rich inheritance as His child, has indeed met my every need.
My first experience in proving this truth was in the overcoming of a very moody, disagreeable disposition. As my consciousness became filled with thoughts of God's omnipresence and unchanging goodness I found it impossible to feel anything but joy and peace. Since then I have had many beautiful proofs of God's love. Any physical difficulty that has presented itself has been quickly overcome and many problems have worked out in the most satisfactory way. The understanding that there is but one Mind, which knows and understands all things, helped me greatly through my last three years of high school.
My baby boy, nearly a year old, has known nothing but perfect harmony since his birth and is the picture of health and happiness. He has never taken a material remedy of any kind. It gives me great comfort to know "the everlasting arms of Love," as a loved hymn tells us, "are beneath, around, above" him. I want to express gratitude for the work done by a Christian Science practitioner when he was born. A rupture which appeared at that time was healed in a week, and the whole experience was most beautiful to me, a stepping-stone to progress.
