I am sending this testimony hoping it will help some one to see the truth. Christian Science has been a blessing to me, for it has taught me to know God as Love, and to love and not to fear Him.
Four years ago I was healed of rheumatism of the heart. I was in such a serious condition that I could not lie down. The doctor came every day and at the end of four weeks I was not any better but rather worse, and was taking six different kinds of medicine. One day I asked a member of our family to call a friend who is a Christian Science practitioner. Medicine was laid aside immediately; we left all for Truth and the healing was almost instantaneous.
One year later our son was born and the birth was painless. My youngest son was healed of a rupture in one treatment. A few weeks ago he had a serious fall. A few days later when having his head washed he cried as if with pain. When drying his head I found a soft spot, which felt as though the skull had parted. A member of our family who is not a Scientist expressed fear, saying I should take him to the doctor. Instead I wrote to a practitioner and in a week it disappeared. The first day of the absent treatments I was reading a copy of the Sentinel and read the editorial, "The Health of Children." One thought which stayed with me in particular was that divine intelligence governs child perfectly and insures the harmonious activity which is health.
