I have often wanted to express my gratitude for Christian Science and for what it has done for me. Since I have found it, it has been my only comfort and joy. It has taught me how to replace material medicine with the truth, and that the truth cures a sick body. My religion gave me no satisfactory comfort, while divine Love, as revealed through Christian Science, gave me all comfort. It has taught me how to prevent sickness as well as to destroy it. I am grateful for all this, but especially for what it has done for me during the last two years. It sustained me during the illness and loss of my husband. I saw that Life is all, and knowing there is no separation in the one Mind, I felt no sense of loss. The teaching and understanding of Christian Science is wonderful; it uplifts, protects, and sustains, and is ever a cause for rejoicing and for thankfulness to Mrs. Eddy for giving us such an understanding of the Scriptures. The weekly Lesson-Sermons are so helpful. I should be sorry to live without the knowledge of Christian Science, —(Mrs.) Janet Tillard, Cairo, Egypt.
