When Christian Science was presented to me, I was a nervous wreck, caused by stomach trouble from which I had suffered eight years. I was afraid to eat, for fear it would cause severe suffering; at times, it was so intense that I prayed to die. After two Christian Science treatments I was quite a different person. I was able to eat anything without discomfort.
I am also grateful for the healing of gum disease, known as pyorrhea; but I am most grateful for the spiritual uplift, and the great joy that Christian Science has brought into my life. I am grateful to God, to Christ Jesus, the Way-shower, to our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, and to the faithful Christian Science practitioner who so lovingly guided me from darkness into light.— Baltimore, Md.
