A number of years ago I contracted a contagious skin disease, which was very annoying, and so tenacious that I found it necessary to ask for help from a Christian Science practitioner. The help was lovingly and faithfully given, and the disease was overcome.
For several years before I became interested in Christian Science I was sickly and taking medicine most of the time, without being benefited in the least. Then I gave up using medicine and began studying Christian Science, with the result that my health was soon greatly improved; in fact, to such an extent that it has not been necessary for me to lose a day's work on account of ill health since the day I began studying this Science, now a little over thirteen years ago. I can truthfully say that Christian Science has made me a healthier and happier man by giving me a better understanding of God and of man's relationship to Him.
I am indeed grateful to our revered Lender, Mary Baker Eddy, for her wonderful discovery, which has taught me humbly to turn to God for health and happiness, instead of seeking for them in matter, where they are not.— Canton, Ohio.
