Though I began studying Christian Science only for a more helpful interpretation of the Bible, physical ailments began to disappear. I had had several attacks of nervous prostration, at one time spending some weeks in a sanatorium. After commencing the study of the Bible in the way Christian Science presents, a very severe attack seemed to come upon me. Finally, however, by means of the help of patient practitioners, and the slight understanding of Christian Science I had gained, the fear of future attacks was proved unreal, and the healing of this difficulty was complete.
Once, upon returning from a vacation, I was much perplexed because of the rather unusual experiences I had encountered, and one day I was led to take up the Manual of The Mother Church. My eye at once fell on the words, "Amusement or idleness is weariness" (p. 60), and I began to realize why I had had so much to meet during that vacation. Ever since I have been greatly benefited by that lesson.
I am especially grateful to God for the Christian Science Sunday School.—Gloversville, New York.
