It is with the desire to be grateful that I am giving this testimony to the power of Truth. It would be impossible for me to count the blessings I have received in Christian Science, and am receiving through the daily study of the Lesson-Sermon and the other writings which our Leader has provided for us.
I am grateful for the protection I have had in rearing my family of four children. They have been cared for in Christian Science through the experiences of measles, whooping cough, and other ills. I am beginning to see that I must release my children from a limited sense of mother-love and let them go free in the divine Father-Mother Love. This is not the easiest problem I have faced, but it is one I know that I must work out sooner or later.
I did not come into Christian Science for healing, but because I could not keep out of it. I had always loved the Bible, but under the old thought it did not seem to keep its promises. It has taken Christian Science to give me my Bible as an open book; and I find its promises are kept, if I do my part.
