I might be the one on the Jericho road,
Robbed, wounded, and left to die;
Or I might have passed by on the other side,
Pride and disdain in my eye.
But I may be the one from Samaria,
Who cares for his brother's woe:
He is calling now on the Jericho road;
He is calling, and I must go!
