PACIFIC COAST SANATORIUM

From the July 1928 issue of The Christian Science Journal

AFTER deliberate consideration over a substantial period of time a decision was reached and an announcement accompanied by architect's drawing was made in The Christian Science Monitor of April 26 that the Pacific Coast Sanatorium would be located in San Francisco.

Plans of the building have been accepted, subject, however, to a number of minor adjustments and revisions relative to the exact sizes of the rooms and the necessary preliminary work to be accomplished. Building will commence as soon as is practicable after these preliminaries are finished and sufficient funds have been received. The Treasurer of The Mother Church is authorized and ready to receive these contributions.

Although located on the Pacific Coast, it should nevertheless be understood that this sanatorium is not a local institution but a part of the great whole of the activities of The Mother Church; and we feel sure that the field will be spontaneous in its moral and financial support as it has always been heretofore.
