The testimonies in the Christian Science periodicals have been so helpful to me that I thought I should like to add mine. The first article I read in The Christian Science Journal nearly twenty years ago convinced me that Christian Science was the truth. Previous to that time I had dieted for ten years, and had electrical treatments and massage under the care of specialists for gastric catarrh. After reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy for about eighteen months I asked for help and was healed. Ten years ago I had a bad attack of inflammatory rheumatism. The healing of this was slow, but I have realized since that I needed a lesson in patience. When I went through deep waters through the passing on of my husband, four years ago, I found that "trials are proofs of God's care," as our Leader says (Science and Health, p. 66). I certainly am very grateful for Christian Science, and for all the blessings it has brought to me.— Crafton, Pennsylvania.
