It is a privilege to testify to the efficacy of Christian Science. I have had numerous proofs of its power to bless.
Over two years ago, while visiting my daughter, I fell and broke my right arm between the elbow and the shoulder. I was alone at the time and, for a short while, suffered intense pain. Immediately after the accident I declared the truth and was able to reach the telephone and request help from a practitioner. This was lovingly given. Within a comparatively short time the difficulty was fully met and no trace of the break remained. On page 402 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" Mrs. Eddy says, "Christian Science is always the most skilful surgeon, but surgery is the branch of its healing which will be last acknowledged." In my case these words were fully proved, as no aid other than Christian Science treatment was given.
I am profoundly grateful for this truth, which teaches us man's true relation to God; grateful to Mrs. Eddy for sharing with the world her inspired writings, and for all the activities of the Christian Science churches.
