With a deep sense of gratitude I want to give this testimony in the hope that it will help others. After the loss, within a year, of my husband and a child, combined with other troubles, I had a complete nervous breakdown. I consulted seventeen doctors and nerve specialists. I even went to California, but came back much worse than I was when I went. For three years I could not go over ten days without a hypodermic of morphine and digitalis. Then congestion of the brain developed. As a last resort I called up a Christian Science practitioner, praying to God to direct me. I was instantly healed by absent treatment. Shortly after that I was healed of an ingrown goiter, by the same practitioner, although I had been told only an operation could save me.
My little girl was instantly healed of diphtheria, also by absent treatment. These healings all occurred within eight months. I have never had any medicine, neither have I consulted a doctor, since my first healing. I am very thankful for Christian Science because, aside from these healings, all my problems are becoming very much easier to solve. I have found there is nothing that cannot be worked out in Christian Science. It has been my great privilege to have class instruction. I am very grateful to the loving practitioner who so patiently helped me, and to Mrs. Eddy, the world's greatest woman benefactress, for her wonderful discovery.
