I have been freed from pain and sickness. I shall never forget the first treatment I had in Christian Science, for I was instantly healed of weak eyes and constipation. I was also slowly and surely healed of headaches, and coughs and colds from which I had suffered since childhood. I am so glad that Christian Science came to me and brought into my home the Bible, which is indeed the Book of Life. Through the study of the Bible, together with "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, we have solved many problems and had many healings, of measles, coughs, earache, dry and breaking hair, blackheads, backache, bleeding piles, and chapped hands. Practically every error is overcome and wiped out by the truth. So many times when the children woke up at night screaming with pain, we took the Christian Science Hymnal and sang songs of praise, and soon the pain left and they fell asleep, awaking the next morning well.
I am deeply grateful for our loving practitioners, who so patiently work for us when we are in need of help. I am also very grateful for class instruction from a loyal teacher and for a better understanding of God. Gratitude goes out also to Mrs. Eddy, who worked so patiently to show us the way to freedom and harmony. I am most grateful to be a member of The Mother Church and a branch church, especially for our church services and our distribution work, which bring the message of Truth to many an aching heart.— San Antonio, Texas.
