For nearly thirty years I have experienced the blessings and benefits offered through the study, application, and demonstration of Christian Science.
Many years ago I was healed of a so-called hereditary morphine habit, together with all the concomitant effects superinduced by long and continued use of the drug—insomnia, loss of appetite, and emaciation. I battled with this condition for years; traveled far in search of liberation; tested and tried the skill of physicians and specialists. Then I found the real and only way to freedom, health, happiness, and success in Christian Science. From what was termed invalidism I became an active worker in the Christian Science movement.
Christian Science has made me over—a better wife, daughter, neighbor, and citizen. From the helpless, hopeless, friendless, penniless condition in which Christian Science found me, through the renewal of the mind and the transformation of the body I have become active, helpful, and have my share of real supply, wisdom and understanding, enabling me to meet the human demands and needs of the day.
