RESURRECTION

From the March 1932 issue of The Christian Science Journal

"God requireth that which is past."—Ecclesiastes 3:15.

To blest assurance that Thou art the All-in-all,
The one creator, everlasting God;
That as Thine own idea, man can never fall,
Love leadeth me!

From all sad memories of what I think has been,
The past which tries to cling around me still;
Away from all I fear, back in the distant scene,
Love leadeth me!

To put my hand in Thine, O Lord, and know Thy will;
Each forward step in confidence to take;
To usher in the healing Christ, and then be still—
Love leadeth me!

To glory that man had before the wide world was,
Which shineth now, and is at-one with Thee,
With infinite and healing light the dear truth has,
Love leadeth me!

To wakened consciousness the joy of Life is born,
The stone of false beliefs now rolled away!
Thus to the dawn of the great resurrection morn
Love leadeth me!
