I am so grateful for my healing of asthma that I should like to tell it to everyone suffering from this malady. When every known remedy had failed and I was given no hope by the doctors, except temporary relief, I consented to try Christian Science, still feeling that I was beyond help. I was struggling for breath and desperate when my husband, a Christian Scientist, urged me to let him call a practitioner. Not being able to speak, I bowed my head in consent. The relief came so quickly that I walked to my bed, lay down, and slept peacefully all night. After this I had some attacks at intervals, but was always quickly relieved, until a permanent cure was established. I have had no return of these attacks for over eighteen years.
Many other stubborn ailments have yielded to the understanding of the teachings of Christian Science that God is an ever present help to all who call upon Him in truth. My entire family are with me in Christian Science, and I rejoice daily in the knowledge of this Science.
