Show me the way,
And I will walk in it.
Teach me to pray,
With all my thought in it.
For wayward thoughts, like silly sheep
Seeking new pasture, do not keep
The narrow way
Up to the hill of God,
But idly stray,
Nor heed Thy guiding rod,
Until, like sheep, crag-bound and fast,
Shepherd, we call to Thee at last.
