Numberless blessings have come to my family and to me through Christian Science. It has given us a faith which we can use every hour of the day. We first heard of this wonderful religion in 1926. At that time I was spending my summer vacation on the North Sea with my five-year-old son. From infancy he had been troubled with an annoying eruption, and also suffered badly from asthma and urticaria. The doctors whom I consulted advised a prolonged stay by the sea. Through God's goodness our attention was called to Christian Science by a young woman. When we returned home we brought the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and asked for Christian Science treatment, which was lovingly given. The struggle was not easy, for it was hard to see through the outward appearance. The asthma and fever were healed, but it was several years before the irritating rash entirely disappeared. Today the boy is well and strong. I am grateful that he is able to attend Sunday school, and is learning to apply the pure Christ-teaching.
Through Christian Science we were wonderfully protected at the time of an automobile accident. I also recall with gratitude the various blessings my mother has received through this Science.
I am grateful to God for the wonderful proofs of divine Truth and Love and to our revered Leader for the Christian Science literature. With all my heart I thank the practitioners who have lovingly and patiently helped me in the way of Truth.— Chemnitz, Germany.
