When Love's kind flame has burned away the tares
Of wayward will, and sensuous desire,
And consciousness is clothed in Christlike robes
Of purity, and gratitude, and peace,
No backward glance toward errors obsolete
Will mar one's radiant vision of God's plan
For His beloved son, His idea, man.
