Like thousands of others, I feel I must add my expression of gratitude for Christian Science and its blessings.
I became interested in this Science over ten years ago, at a time when I was seeking for the right religion. For many months I had prayed to God to show me the way. In spite of the good teachings I received from the church to which I belonged, I felt dissatisfied; and when I was told how Mrs. Eddy defines God in Science and Health (p. 587), I realized that I had found God, a God of love. My biggest healing was of the wrong concept I had of Him, getting away from a personal God and knowing Him as Spirit. Paul said, "Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind." I am grateful for the gradual unfoldment of the truth and for the realization that there is only the one Mind, and that "I and my Father are one."
Many healings—physical, mental, and moral—have been mine, and I am grateful for the spiritual uplifting I have gained and for the fact that "divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need" (ibid., p. 494).
