My interest in Christian Science was first awakened by the healing, in 1906, of a member of my family of a so-called incurable disease, after doctors had given her up and declared that there was no help for her.
During the first reading of the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, which took me less than one week, I was completely healed of a most distressing stomach and bowel trouble of more than ten years' standing, which at many times during those years had seemed to threaten my very existence; also, a most annoying manifestation of warts which covered both hands disappeared at the same time, never to make an appearance of any sort again.
Since that time I have never lost interest in any degree in this beautiful truth, Christian Science, and disease and discord of whatsoever name and nature that have presented themselves have been corrected through its application.
