To express my gratitude for the Cause which Mary Baker Eddy established when she founded Christian Science I am offering my testimony.
I became interested in this Science about 1910 while seeking physical healing for my husband. He was suffering from what was called hardening of the arteries. Every doctor to whom we went for help said there was not any help known to medical science for such trouble. Through Christian Science he received a healing which was permanent, and he experienced better health than he had before.
I also learned about God, His ever-presence and nearness. With this understanding many discords and errors were overcome and harmony was experienced. Among the physical healings were those of whooping cough, bloody dysentery, enuresis, ptomaine poisoning, broken bones, colds, headaches, and rheumatism. Also lack and unhappiness were overcome. It would consume very much time and space to tell of the good that has been the actual experience of my family and me. For all the activities our beloved Leader founded and established through which the understanding of Christian Science is made accessible, I am indeed grateful.
