FOR the complete change that Christian Science has wrought in my life I wish to express heartfelt gratitude.
Six years ago I was in an extremity of mental depression, physical ill-health, and financial difficulties. My concept of God was of a Being vague and undefined; my children and I were continually in the doctors' hands, and chemists' bills were a monthly necessity.
At this time a friend gave a few Christian Science Sentinels to a member of my family, and on account of the illness of one of my children I became interested. After some weeks of continued suffering from a nervous breakdown, during which time I was under a doctor's treatment, I was told of treatment by Christian Science practitioners. I wrote for help, which was promptly given. The healing, when it came, was instantaneous; and from that moment, with the patient help and loving guidance of the practitioner, I began to progress in the understanding of God as Life, Truth, and Love, and of man as His image.
