GOD does not give us just a few
Sweet drops of life like morning dew,
Then dash the goblet to the floor,
Just as we plead with Him for more.
Our Father cannot be unkind,
For He is Love and Life and Mind;
And when we hear and heed His call,
We find that He has given all.
