With deep gratitude for Christian Science and for the many blessings received through it I gladly give the following testimony.
At one time I developed a bad cough, and although we worked in Christian Science as well as we could, the cough did not yield. One evening it was so bad that I could not get my breath. My husband telephoned to a practitioner and asked for treatment, which was kindly given me at once. On the following day I felt the beneficent effect of the work of Truth; phlegm and blood loosened up in my head, and four days later I was completely healed.
When our seven-year-old daughter fell sick with a severe cold, we asked the same practitioner for help. After two days the cold had entirely disappeared, but on the following day the body of the child was quite mottled. Acquaintances had told me that we must get the child out of the house for she had scarlet fever, but the little girl kept asserting: "God is with me. I need not go." After two more days of treatment this error, too, disappeared.
