It is with sincere gratitude for the blessings Christian Science has brought me that I give this testimony.
There have been many physical healings, among them those of the effects of a very severe dog bite, athlete's foot, and strained ligaments. A recent healing was that of intestinal grippe, followed by severe fainting spells. The latter occurred so often that my son called the practitioner, saying he wished a Christian Science nurse to be with me. She was with me for several weeks, and with her loving care and the steadfast work of the practitioner, our Leader's definition of the word "Christ," which she gives on page 583 of Science and Health, was realized: "Christ. The divine manifestation of God, which comes to the flesh to destroy incarnate error." The incarnate error was destroyed by the Christ, Truth.— East Orange, New Jersey.
