My first knowledge of Christian Science came when I was a child, through my mother's healing of very severe headaches. At about the same time a friend of the family was healed of blindness. These healings made a lasting impression on me. Later I turned to Christian Science for help, to gain a better understanding of what Life is. The study has brought me many blessings.
I had no physical difficulty to contend with, but through this wonderful teaching I have been able to overcome many disturbing conditions. Through the study of Mrs. Eddy's writings I have been able to see clearly that God is the only cause and creator, and that He is "a very present help in trouble."
I have been helped in overcoming lack. Through the right application of Christian Science, I have found supply at hand when most needed. This has enabled me to see that with the right understanding one may ask and receive abundantly. Jesus said. "Seek ye first the kingdom of God. and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."
