PROTECTION

From the December 1940 issue of The Christian Science Journal

"The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms." Deuteronomy 33:27

Within Thy sheltering arms, O Love most dear,
I find sweet surcease from all pain and fear;
And when to sense my heart may weary be,
I know that I can find repose in Thee.

And when in doubt I turn to Thee for aid,
An inward voice replies, "Be not afraid."
Thus comforted, along my way I go,
Safe in Thy love, secure from every foe.
