Christian Science is bringing to the human consciousness an awareness of the presence of the kingdom of heaven. Christ Jesus said, "Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."
Through the study of Christian Science we learn to recognize God as infinite Mind, the only true intelligence of the universe including man; we see Him as divine Principle, from which emanates the immutable law of good; as Life, deathless and harmonious, in which all that reflects Him is forever safe; as Love, protective, divine, all-pervading Love, ever blessing its own ideas; as Spirit, in which is nought that is material or evil.
If, therefore, God includes within Himself all that truly exists, all real activity must be spiritual, under the control or government of God, who is Spirit. Since man, the image and likeness of God, reflects God, the kingdom of heaven is where Jesus declared it to be—within the consciousness of good. Spiritual activity, or business, is included within God's government, since God is the cause of all that truly exists.
