With a joyful heart I should like to give thanks for the innumerable blessings which have come to me through God's infinite love since He led me to Christian Science.
In 1933 I had a serious attack of pain in the region of the gall bladder. I asked a practitioner for Christian Science help, and the pain disappeared completely within an hour. Since then I have been free from that ill, which previously had kept recurring.
In 1935 I was rescued from great suffering through the self-sacrificing work of a practitioner. A serious bronchial catarrh had befallen me, but the tireless help of this practitioner healed me. She made clear to me that "there is no power apart from God," as Mrs. Eddy says in the textbook, Science and Health (p. 228); that God is my Life, and that nothing can separate me from God's love, for God holds His child in His protecting law.
