For more than twenty-five years I have depended on Christian Science in solving my problems, and as a result many blessings and healings have come to me and my family.
Among the physical healings which I have experienced have been those of chilblains and tonsillitis, which presented themselves every winter. The healings were accomplished through reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and they have been permanent. A very severe case of influenza, which had seemed to settle in my head, was healed, and the sense of hearing was completely restored. One of the children was healed in about three days of a serious case of what I am sure would have been pronounced bronchial pneumonia, and without any period of convalescence. Various so-called children's diseases have been overcome. My three children were born under Christian Science treatment, and the last birth was entirely painless. Many other healings could be related if space would permit, and during this time it has been proved to me beyond a doubt that Christian Science delivers "the children of men from every ill 'that flesh is heir to'" (Science and Health, p. 107).
It was my privilege to attend a Christian Science Sunday School for a short time, and I am very grateful that our children have had the opportunity of attending since they were very small. Soon after leaving Sunday school I joined The Mother Church. Membership in a branch church has been a continual joy and has filled a great need. It is a privilege to serve in any capacity in our church work, but I have been especially benefited and inspired through Monitor circulation work. It has also been my privilege to have had class instruction.
