In gratitude for the healing and beneficent power of Christian Science I should like to tell of a few of the healings which have come to me and mine in the past twenty years.
I was instantaneously healed of rose cold or hay fever, a condition of several years' standing; and of influenza in its worst stages. The bad effects of an injury to the back, from which surgeons said I should never recover, or if I did I could not walk without a support, were completely overcome. We have also had many proofs of God's loving care and protection in our family.
All this has come about through the lifting up of the Christ, as we are taught to do in Christian Science. Jesus said, "And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me." Mrs. Eddy has written for us in "The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany" (p. 247), "Put on the robes of Christ, and you will be lifted up and will draw all men unto you." I have been so lifted up in many ways.
