Ever since I read (about twenty-five years ago) the first line in the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy (Pref., p. vii), "To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big with blessings," Christian Science has met my every need, when I have been obedient to its teachings and have done my part.
With the help of a loving practitioner and further reading of this textbook, I was healed of asthma; of a complication of diseases from which I had suffered since childhood, including constipation, heart trouble, chronic headache, and severe colds; and also of the smoking habit and social drinking.
I am grateful for all the activities of the Christian Science movement; for church services, Wednesday evening testimony meetings, Reading Rooms, literature, lectures, every one of which has healing in its ministration, and also for the Christian Science practitioners.
